EnvoyWorldWide and TeleContinuity have announced a strategic partnership that combines EnvoyWorldWide’s notification services for business continuity with TeleContinuity’s Survivable Communications Network to ‘ensure maximum availability of communications systems during times of crisis’.
TeleContinuity’s Survivable Communication Network is a robust call-routing system that redirects calls to a subscriber in an emergency using the Internet and the public telephone network. This solution assures unbroken continuity of communications during disasters, evacuations or telecommunications outages.
“While telephone backup services are critical to recovery and continuity in an emergency, our customers were looking to us to provide a more comprehensive communication solution,” said Roy Pinchot, president and CEO of TeleContinuity, Inc. “With Envoy, we can now offer our customers a complete package that includes the ability to send critical messages, while ensuring the messages are routed to the correct recipient.”
Designed to manage spikes in traffic and prioritise time-sensitive messages, EnvoyWorldWide delivers personalised, interactive communications to support the emergency communications needs of its customers.
“With a shared vision of reliability, scalability and high-capacity, the collaboration between Envoy and TeleContinuity provides a powerful and competitive one-two punch,” said Ben Levitan, president and CEO of EnvoyWorldWide. “Offering the robust notification platform of Envoy with the backup capabilities of TeleContinuity, this joint solution gives customers a powerful set of tools for ensuring continuity of communications.”
