Safeguarding Australia has reported that The Queensland Government is to set up a state-of-the-art State Crisis Centre for terrorist incidents.
According to the publication, the centre will ‘co-ordinate information and action right across the Government, and when activated, the centre will be staffed by senior officials from a range of departments and the Police Service. The Centre will report to the Government and Queensland Police Service will co-ordinate the response to the incident. It will also liaise with the Federal Government and prepare information for release to the public.’
