Businesses and communities in Cuba are braced for the landfall of Hurricane Dennis. Currently a category four hurricane, some strengthening is possible as Dennis makes landfall.
After passing over Cuba, Dennis is currently on a track to threaten the US Gulf Coast from Louisiana to the west coast of Florida, expected to make landfall early on Monday morning.
July 5th became the earliest date in recorded tropical storm history that four named storms (Tropical storms Arlene, Bret and Cindy preceded Dennis) had formed in the Atlantic basin.
