Strohl Systems has released a new version of its BIA Professional business impact analysis software, which now enables administrators to achieve even greater control over their survey results and improved design consistency. BIA Professional 4.0 enables administrators to assign approvers to review groups of recipients and view the percentage of surveys that have been completed, the status of recipients and time when a recipient last updated their survey.
"BIA Professional 4.0 will help users develop accurate and focused business impact analysis surveys which provide the foundation of successful business continuity planning efforts," said Brian Turley, president of Strohl Systems. "Conducting large-scale surveys in now simpler for administrators and users alike and will help enable more accurate responses from recipients."
BIA Professional 4.0 also boasts improved design features. Surveys are identical in appearance whether viewed in the question designer or on the Web. Frames, images, fonts, colours and size and location of question elements appear the same no matter where they are viewed.
Other new features in BIA Professional 4.0 include:
* .Net interface - BIA Professional 4.0 Web surveys are written in .Net to increase the speed at which new features and enhancements can be implemented;
* Enhanced sample survey – An updated and enhanced sample survey contains nearly 50 questions to help get new users started;
* Increased security – BIA Professional Web now uses encrypted survey URLs and supports SSL and proxy servers.
