ContingenZ Corporation has developed a new
software solution to help the disaster recovery planning process
for small to mid-sized businesses. The program, called IMCD, which
stands for Incident Management CD, explains incident management
and disaster recovery planning to the user and then guides him/her
interactively through a series of questions. The program then uses
the user’s answers to automatically provide a fully customised
disaster recovery plan.
According to Michael Miora, CISSP, president
and CEO of ContingenZ Corporation, "This is the first program
of its kind and is a complete solution for small to mid-sized businesses.
IMCD educates the user, asks the questions, does the analysis and
produces the procedures that protect a business in case of a disaster
or cyber attack."
IMCD will be released on 30th May 2003. A preview
is available on the web at www.contingenz.com/imcd.htm
