Continuing to expand its suite of information availability services, SunGard Availability Services today announced its US ‘Information Availability for Small and Midsize Business’ program. The program enables customers to obtain managed hosting services combined with ten end-user recovery seats to help quickly rebuild and recover their business at time of disruption.
With the Information Availability for Small and Midsize Business program, customers can manage their applications while they are hosted at one of SunGard Availability Services' redundant data centres. In the event a disruption prevents use of a customer's primary data centre location, the servers and applications running in SunGard Availability Services data centres allow customers access to their critical business information.
Customers can use the end-user recovery seats component to access the applications and information hosted with SunGard Availability Services and continue with business as usual.
"Besides the business and cost benefits gained through continuous information and systems availability, customers receive an additional $5,000 value per year, through the ten end-user recovery seats included in this program," said David Palermo, vice president marketing, SunGard Availability Services. "SunGard Availability Services is the first and only organization to offer such a comprehensive, cost-efficient offering."
The Information Availability for Small and Midsize Business program is offered for a limited time until September 30, 2005.
