CIR magazine’s annual 2005 Business Continuity Awards were presented last night at a gala dinner at Grosvenor House, London. The awards recognise high standards achieved across the business continuity, insurance and risk management industries.

Voluntary Sector Continuity Manager of the Year : Richard Gough, Operations Manager, The Wellcome Trust

Public Sector Business Continuity Manager of the Year : Eddie Coventry, Head of Emergency Management Service, Gloucestershire County Council

Lifetime Achievement : Lyn Ball, Continuity Consultant, Royal & Sun Alliance

Business Continuity Manager of the Year : Steve Mellish, Head of Business Continuity, J Sainsbury plc
