Singapore’s Standard for Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery Service Providers explored

Dr Goh Moh Heng and Lim Yew Ban of DRI Asia have written a paper which examines the implications of Singapore’s new certification standard for BC and DR suppliers.

The ‘Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BC & DR) Standard’ for Singapore was launched by Dr. Balaji Sadasivan, Singapore's Senior Minister of State for Communications & The Arts and Health, on 2nd December 2004. The certification standard helps define the requirements which local business continuity and disaster recovery service providers must meet in order to provide a trusted operating environment.
