The centre provides up to 400 syndicated recovery positions together with a dedicated position capability in high quality office accommodation with call centre and data centre support. It is close to the M4 and M5 motorway junctions and Bristol Parkway mainline rail station.

This is ICM's first business continuity centre in the South West of England and complements the group's nine other business continuity facilities around the UK.

The Group now provides facilities for over 2,500 recovery positions across the
UK. It will also add an additional 300 positions at its Wapping site when a specialist refit, which more than doubles the capacity, is completed in phases during Q3 and Q4 of 2004.

Barry Roberts, ICM's chief executive commented: “Demand for business continuity services in the South West is high. We are now able to provide wider national coverage to all our clients as well as offering our services directly to local companies. We are continuing to look for additional sites to complete our clear strategy to build a nationwide capability in the fast growing business continuity market.”
