percent of respondents to a Corporate IT Forum survey ranked business
continuity as one of their top three challenges this year, compared
to 26 percent last year, reports Computer Weekly.
Concerns about governance and outsourcing were
also given a lower priority than in last year's survey.
John Handby, chief executive of IT directors'
organisation CIO Connect, told the publication: "With the perception
of a terrorist threat, together with a greater dependence on IT,
this is surprising. IT directors might think they have business
continuity under control, but the evidence is that this is not the
case."
