Get free weekly news by e-mailUK business continuity management specialists Continuity Planning Associates Ltd (CPA) have used the presentation of a Lifetime Achievement Award to its managing director as a launch pad for its new branding and an entirely new website.

The Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to former BCI chairman Lyndon Bird in recognition of his extensive achievement within the business continuity arena, and professional excellence over the course of a significant career in the industry. The Awards were organised by industry magazine Continuity, Insurance and Risk in association with the Business Continuity Institute and the Corporation of London.

CPA general Manager, Paul Moor, commented: “Business continuity management has become a significant weapon used by companies wanting to protect their business against disruption from unforeseen events. It encompasses much more than simply disaster recovery or risk management. CPA is solely focused on delivering business continuity management services and software and we felt it important to state our position in the industry. The presentation of Lyndon Bird’s Lifetime Achievement Award on 20th May was the ideal platform from which to launch our new brand and website”.

The new CPA logo is designed to represent how business continuity plans protect business in the event of unforeseen incidents.

The new website, found at www.cpa-ltd.com, has been created to raise the awareness of BCM whilst promoting CPA’s strengths in developing and implementing
appropriate strategies and plans.

Paul Moor explains: “Business leaders still need to understand the significance of the need to protect their operations, reputation and image from the threat of negative impact of unforeseen and/or uncontrollable events. As specialists, we understand how these events can adversely affect their business operations and, more importantly, how to ensure that continuity of the business is not compromised”.
