Venezolano de Crédito extends business continuity contract with IBM Global Services

Get free weekly news by e-mailIBM Venezuela has announced that Venezolano de Crédito, a financial institution, has renewed and extended its business continuity services contract with IBM Global Services. It will now utilise IBM business recovery facilities in the region.

César Arana, IBM Global Services Venezuela, stated: “Information is the basis for the existence of any company. The ability to safeguard and recover it in due time and manner while ensuring the continuity of business is a major challenge. With over 15,000 successful engagements in more than 77 countries, and 120 Business Continuity Centers around the world, IBM Global Services offers the right expertise, capability and global continuity and recovery skills.”

Paulo Ríos, information systems VP, Venezolano de Crédito, said: “The renewal and extension of our contract with IGS will help us face possible emergencies or contingencies, preparing us to deal with potential business interruptions and keeping our systems working seamlessly if an unforeseen adverse situation should arise.”
