The
first of three deadlines for compliance to new NASD business continuity
rules is rapidly approaching. NASD members have until June 14th
to comply with Rule 3500, which requires members to designate two
emergency contact persons and provide this information to NASD via
an electronic process.
Following this there are two further deadlines.
By August 11th all clearing firms and by September 10th all introducing
firms must be compliant with Rule 3510 which requires Members to
create business continuity plans which meet NASD requirements.
