Business continuity resources added to web deployment and application distribution solution

RepliWeb, Inc., a provider of enterprise-class data deployment software, has launched R-1 RepliWeb's Distribution Manager Version 3.3, claimed to be the industry's most comprehensive and flexible web deployment and application distribution solution. The 3.3 release includes business continuity, management and performance enhancements.

R-1 v3.3 introduces critical point in time rollback functionality that enables IT administrators to ‘reset’ production servers to the same data-state, based on a user defined point in time.

R-1 3.3 also includes inherent staging environment failover functionality. IT administrators can create a ‘standby’ staging server for R-1 that assumes distribution management in the event of a failure or even planned maintenance.
