ICM
launches free Continuity Clinics for businesses throughout the UK
53%
of British businesses do not have viable plans in place should disaster
strike, according to a recent
survey. ICM Computer Group, the UK's Business Continuity Provider
of the Year, is trying to improve this figure by providing free
business continuity clinics in its disaster recovery centres throughout
the UK.
The clinics provide an opportunity for organisations of all sizes
and from all sectors to understand the importance of disaster recovery
and allow delegates to take part in a one-to-one question and answer
session with experienced consultants to help the delegates assess
potential risks to their business. ICM's business continuity specialists
will also be on hand to provide advice on business continuity planning
and give guidance on possible solutions. Visitors can also take
a tour to view the facilities available at the 24/7 recovery centres.
Commenting on the clinics, Mike Osborne, operations director for
Business Continuity at ICM, said "Businesses that haven't looked
at their business continuity or disaster recovery plan are leaving
themselves exposed to a huge risk. The problem is one of awareness,
both of the problem and the solutions, which are now readily available
and don't cost the earth. The free open days we are holding throughout
the country will allow people to assess their needs and learn how
to protect their business, if disaster strikes."
The clinics are being held from 22nd April to 27th May, throughout
the country. Call 08000 277872 or visit
