Strohl BCP software use increases among Fortune 500

Strohl Systems now provides business continuity planning software to 45 percent of the 2004 Fortune 500 list (the top 500 US companies in terms of revenues). This is up from 40 percent in 2003.

On the list, Strohl’s 224 customers include; nine of the top 10 securities firms, 13 of the top 14 commercial banks, 12 of the top 15 insurance companies, seven of the top eight diversified financials, five of the top six aerospace and defence companies, six of the top seven energy companies, seven of the top 10 consumer food producers, five of the top six telecommunications companies, seven of the top 10 pharmaceutical companies, six of the top 10 specialty retailers, five of the top six utilities (gas and electric), four of the top five household and personal products companies, three of the top five general merchandisers, five of the top seven semiconductor companies, and three of the top five health care companies.

In all, nine of the top 10 and 67 of the top 100 Fortune 500 companies use Strohl’s software.
