Enterprise Solutions, Inc., has been awarded a contract with by
Pacific Coast Companies, Inc., a Sacramento-based building supplies
manufacturer with annual revenues approaching $800 million. Under
the terms of the undisclosed multiyear agreement, RagingWire will
provide disaster recovery services that support the building supplier's
North American business operations.
"Pacific Coast is committed to providing
the most reliable and secure systems environment that allows our
customers to continuously access mission critical information on
a 24-by-7 basis," said Mike O'Dell, CIO of Pacific Coast Companies.
"We selected RagingWire because of its ability to customise
a solution that meets our specific operational needs while providing
additional services that we may require in the future."
RagingWire's real-time data replication allows
Pacific Coast to achieve a greater degree of availability and reliability
for its network operations. By replicating mission critical data
from its production SAP R/3 ERP system to an off-site disaster recovery
system, the building manufacturer's customers can seamlessly access
vital information with no interruptions or data loss.
"Improving the availability and integrity
of our enterprise clients' data is critical to their overall business
operations," said Yatish Mishra, president and CTO of RagingWire.
"RagingWire's comprehensive disaster recovery solutions enable
large, data-intensive companies like Pacific Coast to minimise business
interruptions and reduce costs associated with slow recovery time
and lost data."
