FEMA administrator Craig Fugate swears in Tony Russell as new Region VI administrator On December 16th FEMA Administrator Craig Fugate swore in Tony Russell as the new regional administrator of FEMA Region VI at the regional headquarters in Denton, Texas. Mr. Russell, whose official first day as Region VI Administrator will be Monday, December 21st, has coordinated the federal disaster response and recovery support to state and local emergency management officials as a Federal Coordinating Officer (FCO) from FEMA Region VIII for more than six years. City Of Baltimore launches Corporate Emergency Access System The Business Network of Emergency Resources (BNET) in partnership with the City of Baltimore has announced the launch of the Corporate Emergency Access System (CEAS) in Baltimore. In the event of a large-scale emergency, CEAS provides companies quick, authorized access to their affected worksites, minimizing economic injury to business and ensuring economic resiliency. BNET, a New York-based not-for-profit corporation, will manage the CEAS. Member companies cover the program's administrative costs of the program through a per card fee.
