POSITION DESCRIPTION
Reports directly to VP, Global Disaster Recovery. Primary responsible is to serve as a member of the Global Disaster Recovery Team overseeing IT disaster recovery and crisis management planning, provisioning, and testing for Equifax Data Centers.
Responsibilities include:
- Member of the Equifax Corporate IT Crisis Management Team, Operations Section, under leadership of VP Global Disaster Recovery
- Participation in setup and ongoing management/ oversight of Equifax Global Disaster Recovery Program in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Iberia, Latin America, India and Russia
- Provide “best practice” disaster recovery expertise for: data center disaster recovery planning, plan reviews, and plan updates; IT crisis management planning and testing; coordination and quality control of vendor inputs into disaster recovery plans; and periodic formal assessment of adequacy of Disaster Recovery Plan contents.
- Participate in the scheduling, planning, and facilitation, of bi-annual Corporate IT Crisis Management Team tabletop exercises.
- Participate in disaster recovery test scheduling, planning, and execution, to include coordination of supporting vendors.
- Responsible for Corporate IT Command Center setup/implementation for tests and crisis response.
- Participate in annual global disaster recovery risk assessment and presentations for the Senior Leadership Team.
- Provide Information Technology administrative oversight of LDRPS planning software.
- Participate in customer audits of the Global Disaster Recovery Program
- Participate in contract reviews with Legal and Sales teams to ensure supportable disaster recovery terms and conditions
- Serve as primary point of contact for Global Disaster Recovery Team with Equifax Canada.
- Assist in development, annual reviews, and facilitation of testing of business resumption plans for IT locations globally.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 5 years experience in business continuity/disaster recovery.
Record of demonstrated superior performance in:
- Cross-functional program/project team leadership
- Project and time management
- IT disaster recovery plan development and quality control
- IT DR plan test plan development, and oversight of testing
- IT crisis management planning
- Command Center/Crisis Management Center operations
- Disaster recovery training
- Highly proficient with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Experienced with MS Project
- Consummate writer; experienced speaker
