Position Description: This position is responsible for maintaining the Disaster Recovery program and all supporting processes, procedures and other related documentation. Provide constituent support for change control and service request impact assessments as it relates to the delivery of the IT Disaster Recovery service levels. This position drives the technical impact assessment process for application(s) and system(s) recovery capabilities. Performs frontline vendor management activities. Performs all planning and execution activities for Disaster Recovery exercises. Can conduct training and awareness programs. The role will be responsible for coordinating the development of Business Continuity planning activities. Development and testing IT Business Continuity plans. This position's responsibility includes coordinating the design, development, maintenance, and exercising the overall disaster recovery program and process improvement identification as required.
Position Requirements:
• This position requires a bachelor degree or 4 to 6 years of concentrated DR/BC related experience, good project management and excellent time management skills.
• Must be proficient with the Microsoft office products, and have strong relationship/communication skills. Minimum 3 years' experience in Information Technology project coordination; Minimum 5 years IT professional experience.
• Ability to drive project timelines to completion with a cross-functional team
• Ability to develop and present content in a concise, professional manner
• Strong computer, analytical, and research skills
