This post is subject to contract. It is a fixed term appointment for 36 months.
Oxford Brookes University has established a Knowledge Transfer Partnership with IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group).
You will be:
• developing an ERM methodology for an international company in order to minimise its exposure to losses, by assessing, monitoring and controlling risks associated with its core purpose and strategic decisions
• providing the company with the tools and processes that will enable it to become more proactive and effective in risk appreciation and treatment, as well as to embed a risk/reward aware culture at executive level with clear assignment and accountability for risk management
You should have:
• a postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline, ideally in risk/insurance management
• relevant experience in business, in positions involving strategy development, forecasting and decision making using data from various sources
