We are uniquely positioned in being able to help our clients improve the security privacy and resilience of a single component or to develop comprehensive security, privacy and resilience programmes.

The role will involve:
•Re-engineering the business continuity and IT disaster recovery capability for a diverse range of clients
•Improving the IT DR capability, which could include justifying, implementing and testing new IT DR solutions
•Disaster recovery capability review
•Designing and conducting IT DR test plans, up to full data centre fail-over testing
•Developing and implementing IT DR strategies
•Development and roll out of ITIL framework, particularly in the areas of configuration, IT service continuity and incident management
•Integration of disaster recovery plans with business continuity plans
•Management and delivery of disaster recovery exercise programs
•Creation of disaster recovery plans, sequence of events list and procedures
•Performing business impact analysis, risk assessment and gap analysis
•Advising on the suitability, configuration, deployment and use of software tools in support of IT DR management
•Advising on compliance with regulatory and other local and international standards.
To be considered, you must possess:
- Prior IT disaster recovery experience
- Strong understanding of Business Continuity
- Exposure to ITIL deployment
- The ability to create and implement governance strategies
- Analysis and report writing skills
- A proven ability to build strong business relationships with stakeholders
- A background in IT Service delivery in a large and diverse IT environment
Also desirable: Prince 2, CCNA, CAN and an understanding of BS 25999 and BS25777, BCI membership
