We wish to appoint an Information Services Continuity Manager, based in our central Information Services (IS) department which provides computing and information systems to the University’s seven faculties and corporate departments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading work on IS business continuity and disaster recovery arrangements, the development of appropriate documentation and staff training activities.

The Continuity Manager will work closely with staff across the University to monitor business requirements to ensure that appropriate disaster recovery and business continuity arrangements are in place.

It is expected that major aspects of the work will include managing key risks, carrying out a business impact analysis, ensuring that systems provide a high level of resilience and that measures are in place to manage IS aspects of an incident.

If you have a degree, (or equivalent experience) an in-depth knowledge of IT environments and experience of business continuity and disaster recovery work, we would like to hear from you.
