Primary Job Responsibilities
Perform impact analysis and enterprise-wide mapping of critical functions and infrastructure identifying points of failure and potential business disruption.

In conjunction with IT and other technology organizations, participate and integrate disaster recovery functions and planning process.

Determine costs and impact to the business of identified points of failure, conduct DR feasibility assessment and justify mitigation costs. Consistently evaluate and implement improvements within the disaster recovery program and disaster recovery strategies.

Coordinate individual and corporate wide disaster recovery plan development to ensure an enterprise wide comprehensive plan to ensure business recovery.

Document disaster recovery plan testing procedures and test results to ensure staff familiarity with plan and assigned duties.

Coordinate development of schedules for regular disaster recovery plan maintenance and update, exercises and independent review and validation.

Report disaster recovery status to executive management

BA/BS required in Business or computer sciences

Minimum of 5 years experience managing in the disaster recovery, infrastructure/architecture fields. 3 years project management experience.

Five years experience in a fortune 100 or larger corporation.

Internet business or financial institution experience an PLUS!

Individual will be based out of Scottsdale, AZ

Must be comfortable performing executive-level status briefings

Extensive IT project management skills

Strong analytical, organizational and decision-making skills

Strong written/verbal communications. Must be able to communicate efficiently and effectively with business partners and executive management

Strong administrative skills, with effectiveness in developing tasks and managing resources to achieve target dates

Strong understanding of data center operations and disaster recovery planning / testing.
