The Business Continuity Analyst will be responsible for -
• Ensuring the effective deployment of the Business Continuity Framework and its alignment to group best practice.
• To develop and challenge the existing Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery Policy and Strategy documents.
• Ensure the Crisis Management, pandemic and Business Continuity Plans are continually reviewed, tested and maintained to minimise response times and improve robustness of decision making.
• Conduct the planning, facilitation and reporting of the Business Impact Analysis (BIA) cycle and ensure it is aligned to the company’s process architecture.
• Joint coordination of Disaster Recovery and Work Area Recovery tests. Planning and facilitation of desktop walkthroughs and telephone cascade tests.
The successful Business Continuity Analyst will possess the following skills and experience –
• Business Continuity Practitioner (at least ABCI) with strong understanding of Business Continuity concepts, maturity levels and practices.
• Demonstrable experience of implementing BCM frameworks in service organisations to include best practice crisis / incident management.
• Excellent organisational skills with some experience of formal project management and planning methodologies.
• Experience of implementing and testing, Work Area Recovery and Disaster Recovery solutions.
• Experience of designing and implementing Business Continuity Score Cards would also be an advantage.
