Business Continuity Manager (Financial Services)
South West - £45,000

Leading financial service company require a BCM to work within a team of experienced consultants. This role provides the opportunity to gain exposure to all aspects of the business, working closely with business partners and stakeholders at all levels. This role will focus specifically on the business continuity environment and the successful candidates will also support the Business Continuity Improvement Programme through the ownership and delivery of a number of important organisation-wide initiatives.

The role of Managing Consultant within the Business Continuity team demands the following skills and experience:
• Proven consultancy skills
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• An ability to problem solve and design effective solutions to overcome complex issues
• A history of influencing and negotiating at all levels
• Awareness of project management methodologies
• A creative approach to managing business risk
• Awareness of technology systems and the business continuity challenges and risks these can carry
• A proactive, can-do attitude
• A team player who is able to coach and support those around you
• Experience of business continuity planning or testing would be an advantage

A leading global bank, seeks an experienced risk and BCM professional to work with the EMEA BCM team. Based in London and reporting to the BCM programe office manager the key function for the department is to work with management on BCM and operational risk. The successful candidate will have strong relevant work experience gained in other financial service organisations. They will have a thorough understanding of business continuity and preferably be MBCI accredited. You will also have relevant experience within operational risk.
