ASG have been asked by a global consultancy firm to assist in finding a high level Director to design and develop Continuity of Operations (COOP) plans. Conduct requirements analyses, risk assessments, and business impact analyses. Design, develop, conduct, and evaluate COOP exercises. Support client engagements involving risk management, operations, and emergency management within the homeland security community. Apply knowledge, abilities, and experience to analyze and suggest improvements to Occupant Emergency Plans (OEP), Business Continuity Plans (BCP), and Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP).
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
-4+ years of experience with developing continuity plans, including COOP, BCP, DRP, or OEP
-Experience with developing policy documents, analytic studies, and concept of operations documents required
-Experience with writing, preparing, and briefing presentations to clients
-Knowledge of Microsoft Office
-TS SCI security clearance required
-BA or BS degree required
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with providing direct support to senior managers
-Experience with Department of Homeland Security, civil agencies, or the military
-Experience with government operations centers a plus
-Knowledge of the National Response Plan, National Incident Management System, and emergency management preferred
-Ability to comprehend, apply, and integrate knowledge of operational and programmatic issues surrounding emergency planning, homeland security, and all-hazard threats
-Ability to develop executive-level briefings
-Possession of excellent analytical skills
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Continuity Planning Certification, including CBCP or ABCP a plus
-BA or BS degree in Government, Journalism, English, Economics, Business Administration, Public Administration, Political Science, or a related field preferred; MBA, MA, or MS degree a plus
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
