EMEA South EMC BUSINESS CONTINUTY solution principal - BASED IN MADRID
We are looking for individuals to incorporate in a senior position at the EMC Infrastructure Consulting Practice team, with a business development oriented mind, responsible for identifying and pursuing sales leads, identifying professional services opportunities and maintaining a robust pipeline of professional services targets at assigned accounts. The Solution Principal is also responsible for developing a trusted advisor status with clients.
Responsibilities
* Drive business development and pre-sales initiatives at assigned clients leveraging industry/technical background to create consulting solutions. Leverage existing sales processes, clients and relationships to sell all services offerings.
* Manage customer relationships, in partnership with account management. Share in maintenance of executive relationship. Assist in resolution of major issues. Work closely with the customer to identify additional opportunities in existing accounts. Assist with collections of A/R in troubled accounts.
* Assist with sales process in each applicable market. Assist in building vertical value propositions. Attend vertical conferences. Position new offerings.
* Ensure appropriate sales generation targets and revenue targets are achieved (sales targets, sales growth, client satisfaction, etc.)
Experience and Technical Skills Requirements
* 5-7 years of experience participating in business continuity or disaster recovery projects with a consulting approach.
* 2-3 years of experience participating in business development related activities
* Possesses strong product/technology/industry knowledge.
* Ability to manage in a matrix environment
* Project management skills.
* Excellent English communication skills required (verbal and written) as well as solid presentation skills.
* This position will involve a high level of international travel within the EMEA South region.
