DRI survey lists cyber security as top concern of business continuity professionals

The Disaster Recovery Institute International (DRI) has published the results of a recent survey of its certified business continuity and disaster recovery professionals. DRI surveyed nearly 250 certified professionals about potential threats in the next five years.
According to the survey, the top concern of certified business continuity professionals is cyber security. Cyber security was selected as the greatest challenge for business continuity in the next five years by 87 percent of respondents.
Terrorism (53 percent), vendor management (37 percent), resilience (33 percent), and government regulation (31 percent) are also top concerns of the business continuity professionals surveyed, ranking next below cyber threats.
Professionals showed that they are eager to learn more about cybersecurity as 63 percent were interested in expanding their knowledge on the topic with additional courses.
