123BCP Ltd
The new 123BCP web system (£250 per annum) allows you to copy your business continuity plan to the Internet and then in the event of a disaster you can send an SMS text message to your staff, e-mail your clients, suppliers, bank, insurer and other essential contacts with a single click of the mouse.
Applied Satellite Technology
The latest mobile satellite communication product to the market is the Inmarsat BGAN. This small portable modem offers simultaneous voice, fax and data up to 492kbps. It can be set up in minutes, giving you a complete mobile office.
BELFOR
Soot Removal Film (SRF) is a new innovative natural liquid latex based product developed by BELFOR for specialist decontamination of structures. A thin layer is sprayed or painted on to the contaminated surface and once dry can be peeled away in sheet form, revealing a clean surface free from contaminants.
Business Continuity Institute
The BCI has joined forces with INONI Ltd to develop BCI Benchmark, a powerful self assessment tool which will enable companies to benchmark and measure their business continuity plans and processes against the latest version of the Good Practice Guide 2007. BCI Benchmark will also allow benchmarking and self-evaluation against the broad principles contained in other international business continuity standards. This provides an excellent opportunity to use BCI Benchmark as a best practice teaching aid enabling the user to learn how to improve business continuity management within their organisation.

Showcasing standards and publications including the first British Standard in Business Continuity Management - BS 25999-1:2006 Code of practice in Business Continuity Management, BS 25999 Business Continuity Self-Assessment Tool and PAS 77:2006 IT Service Continuity Management.
Continuity²
Continuity² will launch its new software tool for managing business continuity. The differentiator for this tool is that it is designed to fit organisations at a bespoke level thus avoiding the pain of trying to embed predefined software into organisations.

Continuity Shop, a leading provider of BCI-Approved training, is partnering the British Standards Institution in the provision of public courses on BS 25999, PAS 77 and four other business continuity topics. The six courses, marketed jointly by BSI Business Information and Continuity Shop, include ‘Implementing BS 25999’ and ‘Implementing PAS 77’. All the courses are also approved, or undergoing approval, by the Business Continuity Institute.

Double-Take Software
Double-Take Software will be showcasing the most recently developed business continuity solution for accessible and affordable data protection for Microsoft Windows applications. The Server Recovery Option (SRO) and the ShadowCaster incorporate new technology enabling real time protection of entire servers (OS, applications and data) by combining continuous data replication with continuous system state protection. This allows customers to rapidly failover to an alternate server, even if it has different hardware configurations.

Will show the latest SonicWALL product offering, the TZ190. This offers secure broadband wireless Internet access in an instant. The unit is a network security appliance, which allows users to instantly create a secure 3G wireless broadband network in any location, without the need for a fixed Internet connection.
EMC Computer Systems (UK) Ltd
EMC Corporation recently announced several cost-effective and easy-to-use solutions to help its customers more effectively consolidate, back up, archive and protect their information. EMC will be displaying the EMC CLARiiON CX3-10 UltraScale networked storage system, a new entry point into its market-leading series of full 4Gb/s storage arrays. The system joins the CX3-20, CX3-40 and CX3-80 models in supporting all CLARiiON array-based software functionality, including data management, replication and mobility. Also on display will be the new EMC RecoverPoint/SE software, an entry point for network-based asynchronous replication in mid-tier storage environments; and three solutions to help midsize businesses consolidate, back up, archive and protect their Microsoft SQL Server 2005, Microsoft Exchange 2003 and Oracle RAC 10g environments.

The EPC is launching the next development to further enhance and sustain UK resilience – Project Gold Standard – which will provide the multi-agency civil command team the necessary training for the effective management of major emergencies and events. The flexibility of system design will allow use across both the public and private sector spectrums.
Financial Services Authority
The FSA has produced a Toolkit to help firms strengthen their business continuity and crisis management arrangements. This comprises of two complementary elements: an on-line self assessment tool Benchmarking Lite and the Business Continuity Management Practice Guide. Benchmarking Lite shows where a firm's business continuity arrangements may be falling short and where changes could be made to gain the most significant improvement. The Business Continuity Management Practice Guide reflects the collective observed standard and leading practices of some of the UK's most significant financial firms.

GemaTech will be launching its new ‘Channel Switching Manager’ (CSM) a comprehensive recovery solution for financial dealing/trading room environments providing the ability to instantaneously re-route individual ‘nailed up’ connections delivered via CAS bearers on an individual circuit by circuit basis to any other chosen/specified location or locations.

HP will be showing its newly launched Electronic Vaulting Service.

Neverfail will also have details of enhancements to the Enterprise edition of its SCOPE (Server Check Optimisation and Performance Evaluation) software, which provides a ‘health-check’ for servers.

Steadlands will be exhibiting the latest product in the ePad range, the ePad-LS, which boasts a large, colour screen which not only allows the capture of eSignatures but also offers retail users a customer facing sales medium as questionnaires and presentations can also be displayed. By switching traditional paper-based systems which require signature to a fully electronic format, the requirement for paper warehousing and the risks to business continuity caused by fire, flooding, etc are removed. Copies of the original signed document, the eOriginal, can be held on more than one system for added security.

Stratus and Foundation IT will be demonstrating how to put together IT systems that deliver the highest levels of business continuity support.
SunGard Availability Services
SunGard Availability Services will be highlighting its recently unveiled Electronic Vaulting service, which helps organisations to securely backup their data, and slash up to eight hours from the time it takes customers to resume operations following an incident. SunGard’s new Enhanced Recovery Service will also be on display. This can automatically restore data, help reduce recovery times by up to a third, and help reduce DR costs.
