TelecityGroup France achieves ISO 22301
TelecityGroup, Europe has achieved ISO 22301 certification for business continuity management at its data centres in France.

$15 million for Australia bushfire preparedness
The Australian government is providing $15 million in the 2014-15 Federal Budget for the creation of a National Bushfire Mitigation Programme. The program is a targeted initiative to reduce the impact of bushfires and build a more disaster resilient Australia.

SolarWinds has announced that its virtualization management solution, SolarWinds Virtualisation Manager, offers organizations extended reach and visibility into virtualized infrastructures with new functionalities including baselines, role-based access control, and common alerting and reporting via integration with software that shares the SolarWinds technology backbone.

New management console for users of CBMR backup software
Cristie Software has announced the launch of a new console to provide full deployment, management, monitoring and reporting services for all CBMR backups.

CBMR is a long established and fully featured backup product which is widely used by organizations with large branch networks.

The scalability of the new management console means that thousands of machine backup schedules can be organized into separate groups and monitored remotely with only the management server or servers requiring internet access.
