FEMA has announced that federal disaster assistance has been made available to Vermont to supplement state and local recovery efforts in the area struck by severe storm, tornado and flooding on May 29, 2012. James N. Russo has been named as the Federal Coordinating Officer for federal recovery operations in the affected area.
