More UK floods funding
UK Floods Recovery Minister John Healey has made a further £300,000 of funding available to four authorities across the country, to help get communities back to normal following last summer's floods.
These payments are being made under the Bellwin scheme and are:
* Bridgnorth District Council will receive £5,244
* Cotswold District Council will receive £87,432
* East Riding of Yorkshire Council will receive £197,485
* Vale of White Horse District Council will receive £24,449.

Office-Shadow shakes up leadership team
Office-Shadow has announced that it has significantly expanded and enhanced its executive team with the addition of several key individuals. Included in the list are a new CEO, Group Operations Director, CFO and CTO, as well as a new member of the Board of Directors:
- Nigel Hopkinson has been appointed as chief executive officer;
- Chris Oliver is the new group operations director;
- Phil Becker joins as CTO;
- Simon Maddox, the company co-founder who formerly served as CTO, has now been promoted to chief strategy officer;
- John Haggas joins as CFO;
- John Nicholson has agreed to join the Office-Shadow board of directors.

Vodafone UK Selects Neverfail to offer uninterrupted availability service For Blackberry
Vodafone UK has announced that it has completed a deal with Neverfail. Vodafone will now offer business customers a high availability and disaster recovery service for mobile email using the Neverfail software. www.neverfailgroup.com

Security: The Essential Corporate Asset
ASIS International has announced details of its 7th Annual European Security Conference, Security: The Essential Corporate Asset, which will be held at the Catalonia Palace of Congresses in Barcelona on 13-16 April 2008. Between 500 and 700 senior security professionals, corporate executives, consultants, architects and law enforcement officials are expected to participate. More details.
