Teneros secures further funding
Teneros has announced that it has secured $40 million in late-stage funding. The round was led by Advanced Equities, Inc. (AEI), a financial services company that specializes in late-stage technology investments in the United States. This landmark investment in the application continuity space brings the total capital raised, to drive Teneros' leadership position in the market, to $84.5 million. http://www.teneros.com

FBI looks for extra IT disaster recovery budget
The US Department of Justice’s FY 2009 budget request includes $28.4 million to ensure a safe and appropriate work environment and updated technology, including resources for central records management, field facility infrastructure, and IT disaster recovery.

Business continuity training in Dubai
The Institute for Business Continuity Training will present a comprehensive Business Continuity Certification course in Dubai during April (20-23). The course will run for four days and will offer participants the opportunity to obtain the professional Certified Continuity Manager designation.
