Solcara Control Centre to be implemented at UKvisas
The virtual online operations room, Solcara Control Centre, is to be implemented at the UKvisas division of the Foreign & Commonwealth Office. Peak 10 enters Atlanta market
Peak 10, Inc., has announced the acquisition of a 33,000 square foot facility in the Atlanta, Georgia suburb of Norcross. Peak 10 Atlanta is currently being upgraded and will be fully operational in September 2007. SunGard announces second quarter 2007 results
SunGard has reported that revenue for the three months ended June 30, 2007 was $1.18 billion, an increase of 10 percent over revenue for the three months ended June 30, 2006. Availability Services revenue increased 4 percent, all of which was organic, to $352 million for the quarter. Read the results statement.

Queensland government signs emergency warning agreement with ABC
A new agreement between the Queensland Government and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) will deliver early public warnings about significant emergencies affecting Queenslanders. Under this agreement, senior officers within the Queensland Government will be able to contact the ABC, via a dedicated number, to activate immediate emergency broadcasts. Full 24-hour response arrangements are in place and in the majority of cases emergency information to the public will be live within 15 minutes.

Former Survive Membership Services director joins ICM
Clare Wilson, the former director of Membership Services & Consultancy at Survive has joined the management team at ICM. Clare who had previous roles at Guardian IT/SunGard and has over ten years experience in market and product development within the business continuity industry will be responsible for ICM’s branding, product development and launches, customer communications and event management. ICM was recently acquired by Phoenix IT.
