A strong earthquake has hit northwestern Japan. Gas services were cut to about 35,000 homes and the water supply to the whole of Kashiwazaki, a city of some 95,000 inhabitants, was disrupted. The Neverfail Group has announced the appointment of Richard Ruddlesden to a new company position as EMEA Channel Director. Ruddlesden has served in a variety of channel and sales positions in the UK during the past 20 years. He will work closely with Nick Harmer, VP of Channel and Sales Development, to extend the company's channel focus and partner relationships. Most recently, Ruddlesden was EMEA Channel Sales Director for Tideway Systems Ltd. where he was instrumental in establishing success across continental Europe.

Iron Mountain has established its first presence in the Greek market with the acquisition of a minority interest in SafeDoc, an Athens-based records and information management company. The company will operate as a joint venture with Iron Mountain holding options to acquire further shares in the company over the next five years.
