Westlin Bunker selected to house Continental Airlines’ business continuity operations
Westlin Corporation has announced that Continental Airlines has selected the Westlin campus for the location of Continental’s System Operations Control Center. Almost 15,000 square feet of the building and bunker has been renovated to accommodate Continental personnel to enable them to run the airline’s global operations in the event they have to relocate from their current Houston operations center. The Westlin campus is completely mirrored from their primary site and is operational 24 hours a day for emergency use. www.westlin.com

Major flooding hits NW Spain and eastern France
Torrential rain and strong winds over the last two days have caused substantial damage to several areas of north west Spain. Although the worst of the rain is now over, one region, Galicia, was hard hit. France was also affected: in the east around a dozen provincial departments were put on orange alert after heavy rain put entire villages under water.
