Department of Homeland Security urges small and medium-sized businesses to take business continuity seriously
The US DHS is to launch another ‘Ready Business’ campaign to educate owners and managers of small to medium-sized businesses about business continuity. DHS has, in partnership with The Advertising Council, sponsored new business-specific public service announcements (PSAs). DRII offers new certification level
The Disaster Recovery Institute International has launched a new business continuity certification level - the Certified Functional Continuity Professional (CFCP). This is designed for individuals with a minimum of two years of experience, who have passed the Qualifying Exam but not at the level necessary to apply for the CBCP certification, and/or who specialize in a defined, functional area such as risk analysis, data recovery or human relations.
